The Master’s of Arts in Theology (Divinity) is designed to equip students for deep theological understanding, spiritual maturity, and faithful service within the Church and the world. This graduate-level program focuses on the study of Scripture, Christian doctrine, church history, and practical theology, forming leaders who are grounded in biblical truth and prepared to engage theological questions with wisdom and humility. Theology is understood as loving God with the mind and living out that love through faithful ministry. This degree is for pastors, ministry leaders, teachers, chaplains, missionaries, and adult learners who desire growth and development in theological depth and biblical understanding. It is especially suited for those called to teaching, preaching, writing, leadership, or advanced ministerial roles who seek a strong theological foundation rooted in Scripture and Christian tradition. The purpose of this degree is to prepare theologians and ministry leaders who can rightly handle the Word of God and guide others in truth. Students are trained to interpret Scripture faithfully, articulate Christian doctrine clearly, and apply theology to contemporary ministry challenges. Emphasis is placed on spiritual formation, doctrinal integrity, and integration of faith and practice. Graduates are prepared for roles such as pastor, theologian, Bible teacher, chaplain, ministry educator, missionary, denominational leader, or theological consultant.
